Cấu trúc đề thi Writing VSTEP – Hội đồng HCMUE 13/12

Đề thi Writing bao gồm 2 Task bắt buộc, đúng chuẩn định dạng VSTEP:

✍️ Task 1 – Email (120–150 từ)

Thí sinh viết email phản hồi lời mời tham gia chuyến du lịch 5 ngày từ một người bạn trúng thưởng. Nội dung cần thể hiện rõ lựa chọn:

• Thời gian đi (tháng 7 hoặc tháng 8)
• Hình thức lưu trú (homestay hoặc khách sạn 4 sao)
• Gợi ý các hoạt động phù hợp cho chuyến đi

✍️ Task 2 – Essay (250–300 từ)

Bài luận bàn về tác động của tội phạm mạng (cybercrime) trong bối cảnh Internet ngày càng phổ biến, đồng thời đề xuất các giải pháp nhằm hạn chế và phòng tránh vấn đề này. Bài viết cần đảm bảo bố cục rõ ràng, lập luận logic và có ví dụ minh họa phù hợp.

Dear Lisa,

Thank you so much for inviting me to join your five-day trip, and congratulations on winning such an amazing prize. I would be more than happy to travel with you.

I personally prefer traveling in August, as my exams will be over by that time. This means I can fully enjoy the trip without worrying about my studies. In terms of accommodation, staying in a homestay sounds more interesting than a four-star hotel because it would give us a chance to experience local life and culture more closely.

Regarding activities, I think we could try traditional food, visit popular tourist attractions, and take part in outdoor activities such as hiking or swimming. Exploring local markets and taking photos together would also make the trip more memorable.

I’m really excited about this plan and hope to hear from you soon.

In recent years, cybercrime has become an increasingly serious issue due to the rapid expansion of Internet usage. Therefore, it is essential to understand the impacts of cybercrime on individuals and society, as well as possible solutions to reduce its negative effects.

For individuals, cybercrime often results in financial losses and psychological stress. Personal information such as bank details or social media accounts can be stolen, leading to identity theft or fraud. For instance, many Internet users have fallen victim to fake online stores or phishing emails. On a broader level, cybercrime also causes serious damage to businesses and government organizations through data breaches and system attacks. These incidents can reduce public trust in online services and slow down technological progress.

To address this problem, several measures should be taken. First, individuals need to raise their awareness of online safety by using strong passwords and avoiding suspicious links. Second, companies should invest in better security systems to protect user data. Governments also play an important role by enforcing stricter laws and imposing heavier penalties on cybercriminals. Additionally, educating students about safe Internet use from an early age can help prevent future risks.

In conclusion, although cybercrime poses significant threats in the digital age, its impact can be reduced through education, improved security, and effective regulations.
